Trust should travel
with the gemstone.

AUSTRALORA's provenance approach separates what is known, what is documented and what is not. The objective is not to manufacture certainty — it is to preserve reliable information.

Origin Passport

One stone.
One identity.

For selected stones, an Origin Passport can hold the material identity, stated origin, weight, dimensions, treatment information, cutter or supplier notes, images and transaction history. Fields should only be populated where support exists.

DocumentRecord evidence, supplier declarations and images.
DiscloseSay what is known — and what is not.
PreserveKeep the record connected to the individual stone.
ShareMake essential information accessible to the buyer.

Important principle

Provenance is evidence,
not marketing decoration.

If a stone's mine, field or miner cannot be reliably supported, the record should use a broader origin such as state or country instead of overstating precision. This is central to building long-term trust with collectors, jewellers and trade buyers.
